Description: Mid Century Fine Japanese Bamboo & Washi Paper Hanging Lamp Shade or Asian Lamp DETAILS OF ITEM This piece measures 9.13 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter. The black split bamboo is a lampshade frame that forms a cylinder that bulges out at the center that surrounds the white cylinder lampshade made of Japanese Washi paper. The monochromatic contrast between the black and white colors has a very contemporary feel. There is a hole at the top for easy access to electrify this piece. The condition of this piece is very good as it is new from old stock and its age is from the 1960's. It has a "Made in Japan" seal (see photos).
