Description: Classic, and true period, Mid-Century designed Walnut frame chair with an avocado green vinyl covered backrest and seat. Rock solid, sturdy, comfortable. Original thick chrome foot rests all present. Walnut frame shows minor scuffs, scrapes and general wear from the years. Minor blemishes to the vinyl. Padding still supporting and comfortable. 30.5" H from floor to top of curved backrest.20" Wide and 20" Deep Chair retains it's C.I. Designs, Boston, Mass. label. From what I can find on C.I. Designs, they were an architectural firm that contracted with only a handful of some of the best designers of the time in the late 50s and into the 70s. Bodil Kjaer, Warren Platner, Borge Mogensen, Tage Poulsen are a few that were producing pieces for CI Designs during this period. While I can attribute this chair to C.I. Designs ... I can't attribute it to any specific designer, and as such am offering it at a very modest {delivered} price.
