Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Michael McDonald titled "No Lookin' Back", originally released in 1985 by Warner Brothers Records, then reissued by the RCA Music Service for sale to their mail-order Music Club customers. According to the liner notes, this album was mastered by Howie Weinstein at Masterdisk Studios of New York City, New York. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped an upper case "S" with a smaller "R" and "C" inside its coils, followed by matrix numbers A-1/B-1, indicating that the first stampers were used to make this record at Specialty Records Manufacturing Company's pressing plant located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint with just some minor wrinkles. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner blunting, edge rubs and stress cracks along the spine. The spine has color loss at the corners from blunts and along the edges from rubs and stress cracks. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, sleeve marks, scuffs, smudges or sleeve marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Near Mint, without any surface noise, lock-ups, pops or skips from start to finish. This record has been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is the best copy of this record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find a copy like this one, especially a RCA Music Club Edition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Pop and Rock albums, as well as records of all different genres, in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
