Description: Mexican Prison Art Gang Pachuco 20" x 15" Gouache Painting Crescent Board Killer Piece-Mega Rare This is about as good as it gets for Prison or Gang styled artwork. Hand painted gouache with incredible symbolism and a throwback to the Pachuco movement. A picture is worth a 1000 words-so dig it! Not exactly sure of the provenance of this piece, but I can say it has a definite prison art vibe to it, or it adorned the wall of a gang's clubhouse. This type of work is one of a kind and getting very hard to find and highly coveted by collectors of all genres. Has some wear, ageing, mild warping, tape stains on back, corner damage, a small hole in the center where it was obviously hanging in a place of honor. See photos for details.
