The 22 mm variator hub has also been improved in design: in fact, holes have been drilled which join the internal and external chambers for the flow of grease and increase lubrication. This technology also allows tolerances to be reduced and, consequently, all coupling clearances are also perfected and optimised. Inside the variator kit there is a mobile half-pulley with a diameter of 99.5 made of special die-cast aluminum alloy. The contact surface between the pulley and the belt has been finished with a diamond tool with extreme precision to guarantee a constant friction coefficient, calculated to prevent the belt from slipping and, at the same time, to avoid premature wear.
