Description: This is 40's era award for service with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. It is made by Tiffany & CO. of sterling silver. The item is a round pin back as shown. It measures 11 gr and nearly 1 in. in diameter (about the size of a quarter). There is a stylized M in the center of the pin with the name of the company in the circumference of a circle around the M. The circle is the center of an eight pointed star reaching to the edge of the pin with rays all around the edge. The back of the pin is engraved with the name of the employee and "FAITHFUL SERVICE".
