This Melody in Motion collectible is hand painted porcelain Music Box and Alarm Clock Hobo figurine that moves his head back and forth all while whistling the tune THERE'LL BE A HOT TIME IN THE OLD TOWN TONIGHT. I'll try to picture him moving in some of my pictures. This also has a clock and alarm are also in working condition. PLEASE NOTE - I noticed when taking the pictures - sometimes his head would stop turning and I light touch got it moving again. These old Melody in Motion's have 2 small rubber bands inside them - 1 for the sound and tape player and the other for the movement. These will get weak over time and will need replaced. The movement issue will be resolved with a new belt.This battery operated music box comes in as noted above working condition with the original box, paperwork and styrofoam inserts. I just tested him out and he works great. He runs on 4 AA batteries, which are NOT included. The overall size of this figurine is about 16" tall and the condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs.
