Description: Meissen Hand Painted Purple & Yellow Floral Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1740s Nice antique 18th century German porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted purple, yellow, blue and orange flowers. Small purple floral painted on the top of the handle. Marked on the bottom with a hand painted underglaze blue crossed swords mark used by Meissen. Circa 1740s. Has a small flake to the foot rim of the saucer, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. LWGX
