Description: Italian Pottery Collectors, this a true piece of art! An early example of Giovanni Desimone, this pottery dish with an iconic colorful design features a fish design. Made out of clay, this is a heavy piece with some glaze missing on the underside, which is normal for the process. It is signed on the top. DeSimone was influenced by Picasso and established himself as an artist in the 1960s. This piece is in mint condition. The plate has a slight lip around the perimeter. This is a vintage piece, so take a careful look at all of the photographs; however, this piece is an excellent condition. 7 1/2 inches square by 1 inch tall.
