Maxfield Parrish was an American painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th Century and regarded as one of the most beloved American artists in history. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues and idealized neo-classicalimagery. His career spanned fifty years and was wildly successful: his painting Daybreak (1922) is the first work that Parrish painted specifically for reproduction as an art print. It was extraordinarily successful and has become an image icon and the most popular art print on the 20th century. The printed signature is “Maxfield Parrish” to the lower middle/right of the image. This matted lithograph is housed in a glass and gold metal frame. It was professionally framed by The Art Works, Cincinnati, Ohio.
