Description: Handed down from my grandad's collection, Engine is very nice, he was going to restore this set before passing he got as far as the steamer, with new Postwar CP Boiler Front, new Headlight bezel, and new headlight Lense, he did touch up a bit and polish, as well with cleaning the gears and lubrication, has light, forward and reverse, powerful engine excellent Marx quality from 1948. He never made it to restore the cars, so there is some surface rust and missing paint, but the wheels spin great as shown. The cars are mixed. For its age it is beautiful survivors. Tracks have some surface rust but should clean up well. This set Will make someone a very happy owner!!!!!!!!!!!! And hope someone will appreciate it as much as my grandpa did!!!!!!!!!
