Description: For sale is a Handcraft Martin Committee II tenor saxophone with its matching case, key & metal end plug! This horn is a prime era Martin serial #139xxx with its matching #139xxx neck! This horn is the Martin Committee II featuring the gorgeous engraving of the lion & crown + vertical block letter Martin logo! While this saxophone is a beautiful piece this saxophone is being sold as not working and will need a full extensive overhaul and pad job to be a fully functional saxophone. This saxophone has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, metal wear, patina and other used anomalies associated with a not working horn needing full restoration! The bell lip is bent and need to be strained out. Please check out pictures #21 thru #24, the neck has dents and trauma on both sides. This neck will need work as well around the body side neck receiver. The latches on the cases are broken however both outside and inside Martin logo's are intact which is really nice. Although this saxophone will need work during the overhaul this is an extremely solid body and bones with the majority of the horn being in extremely nice condition. These saxophones are rare extremely rare to ever pop up and generally are not great condition which makes this a nice find. If you have been looking for a Martin tenor and enjoy the restoration process please buy and pay confidently we will ship out ASAP upon payment!
