Before using the mold, hand wash in warm soapy water and hand dry; clean the same way after using." I loved this mold so much that I purchased a second one and have had it stored for many years. I am a novice cake decorator and I twice made a cake with my personal mold. I have posted pics of my simplistic results, This mold comes with an ENLARGED 8 1/2 x 11" copy of the Martha decorating booklet that contains her pumpkin cake and glaze recipes as well as instructions.
