Description: This is a Replacement Insert Kit for the “Power Stereo Amplifier” Insert that has been broken on so many Marantz Model 16 and Model 32 Amplifiers. As a big fan of vintage Marantz stereo equipment, I created this kit as a suitable replacement for the “Power Stereo Amplifier” Insert that was missing on my own Model 16 Amplifier. I figured that there must be a few more folks out there that would benefit from this kit, so I created a few more and I’m offering these kits at a very reasonable price with free shipping in the continental United States. The first photo in this listing shows the end result, illuminated. Notice the perfect match of the original “turquoise” color. The second photo shows the “before” condition of a Model 16 Amplifier without an Insert. The third photo shows the end result, not illuminated. Each Kit comes with: 1) A custom Lucite “Power Stereo Amplifier” Insert which provides an end result that is very close to the original design. 2) An adhesive LED Strip that has been designed to plug into one of the existing Lamp Sockets on your Amplifier. 3) Six adhesive rubber spacers to ensure proper fit of your faceplate to the Amplifier. 4) Detailed instructions for installation. Note: This kit does not include the metal Faceplate or the black plastic bezel surrounding the Insert. Installation should take between 1/2 hour to 1 hour, and I believe you will be as pleased with the end result as I am!
