Description: MALTBY’S Cocoanut Glass Measuring Glass Vintage With Metal Lid RARE Vintage tall glass measuring cup with raised lettering and gradations on the sides. Has metal lid. 7 1/2” by 4”. Has metal lid. The Maltby's company made a number of products in North Branford, CT, including dried and shredded coconut (or as they spell it, coconaut) through the early 20th century. The site of their factory is now on the US National Register of Historic places. There are eight sides and each one is marked. There are lines for Pounds, Quarts, Pints and Teacups. On three of the sides, it is embossed with "Maltby's Coconaut", "Cold Brand Warranted Pure", and "Maltby's Measuring Jar". On the bottom, it states "Maltby's Coconaut Patent".
