Description: Description This dazzling cotton 1870's postage stamp / Philadelphia pavement quilt is treadle machine pieced and quilted, with a yellow calico zigzag border. It measures 78" X 92" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional background spot / discoloration (most visible on the back) and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. There is straight line and grid quilting by machine throughout. The back and hand stitched binding are white and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Sugar Creek, Ohio. The DAZZLING MAZE-LIKE DESIGN and GRAPHIC ZIGZAG BORDER make this 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
