This highly dramatic film made Rock Hudson a true star in the mid-50’s and also featured the lovely Barbara Rush in a major supporting role. Both of the stars signed the cover of the Decca soundtrack LP in Very good (VG) with black Sharpie at different times. Rock did so in the early 80’s while making “The Devlin Connection” fo NBC when an executive at the network asked him, and Ms. Rush signed over thirty years later at a screening of another one of her films, “The Young Philadelphians,” at the American Cinematheque’s Aero theatre in Santa Monica.
