Description: This Magnalite Wagnerware Dutch oven made in Sidney Ohio and founded by the Wagner family manufactured cookware and other metal products starting in the late 1800's. This Dutch Oven is a vintage piece of collectible cookware that will add a touch of charm to your kitchen and show off your cooking skills. This two-piece set includes its lid and both are made of aluminum and magnesium alloy. The Dutch oven features a flat-bottomed design with double handles and is suitable for induction, electric, and gas type ovens. With a 10" item diameter and a weight of 3.12 pounds, this is a nice piece of cookware for soups, stews and smaller sized roasts. Although Magnalite came with a 50 yr guarantee, it has been in use by my mom up until a year ago. She received it in the 1950's as a shower gift. It cleans up well with warm soapy water and my family has always used Brillo to shine this baby and all our Magnalite up. This one looks pretty good for 70 yrs old.
