The shape of the handle is much more convenient for adjusting than on competing brands. The clamp pads on each jaw are the same size and both pads have flat faces and cruciform grooves which are super handy for securing wire and cylindrical objects.Compatibility: The clamp has a maximum opening of just over an inch (25mm). The diameter of its hardened and ground attaching pin is 8 mm, making them compatible with most indicator holders. The precision ground pin will give you free movement and a firm lockup.Thousands of uses: Soldering, holding small parts, tools, or magnifiers in a fixed position.
