First and foremost this was designed with durability in mind. All of the competing designs that we tested were flimsy and, in some cases, allowed the controller to wobble or possibly fly out completely. With clubhead speeds exceeding 100mph, you really don't want the controller flying out on a full swing, possibly causing damage to the controller, the wall, TV, family dog, window, little brother, grandpa's ashes, etc. Our adapter is designed with a deep, tight fitting cup that will not mark up your controller in any way. The adapter's plastic parts are constructed from premium, engineering grade, PETG, which is much stronger than any of our competitors PLA products. We use two, thick, reverse locking straps, our competitors use a single strap that is too short to reverse lock as designed. In testing the straps were able to hold in excess of 165lbs of static weight, one reverse locking strap is plenty, two is just piece of mind. We compared the swing weight feel to various clubs, and have concluded it is very similar to a standard D2 swing weight with just the included hardware (this can be adjusted by adding or removing washers). This works great in Golf+ with its official preset, the accuracy is better than most launch monitors we've used, but it also works great in most VR golf, baseball, tennis, fishing and even kayaking games on both the Oculus, and the Steam store.
