Description: M. KLEIN & SONS 3-Blade Electricians Knife, Vintage: This knife has had a life, but he's probably in his fifties and doesn't want to retire yet. It's hell being an independent worker but this life has got its rewards. Blades (yes, this guy has a back-up) have been sharpened not too neatly; about one third has been eaten up on a grinder. But the fact that it has three total means that the knife is not too old; the third blade was not included in any of the military knives which were the progenitors of this knife. The cutting blades have been sanded and buffed with about two-thirds of original height; the screwdriver shows much use but is still at original shape. The liner locks up tight and is dependable. Springs are intact and give the blades strong walk and talk with half-stops. Plastic handles show no chips or cracks and hold their shine. Brass frame is clean, solid and square. Bolsters are tight to the handles. No parts wobble. The lanyard bail swivels easily. This is a good knife that has given blood, sweat and tears in its duty. My low price shows respect for its work. Mailing only to USA-48. Postage is usually between $5.00 and $6.26. Buyer pays $4.00, I will pay the rest. Please see my other knives and save postage. I am liquidating my entire collection; please keep me in your favorite sellers, watching for Old Bryan's Old Knives or the seller name below.
