Description: 1968 dated original surplus that was repacked in 1976 and then again in 1991. They have been sitting in gov’t warehouses since Vietnam. All new original GI Surplus. Some scuff marks on the nylon adjuster straps from storage. Also very very slight oxidation on the d-rings. Accessories not included. Suspenders only. Nylon. New and in mint condition still tied in original string. This type of suspender was experimental (1968) along with the plastic snap canteen covers and compass pouch. They were designed with hook snaps in the back to carry either the buttpack or sleep bag carrier. Also features the d rings in the front which had not been a part of load-bearing suspenders since early WW2.
