Period vellum bindings, with yapp edges and holographic titles on the spine. Mild bump to the top corner of about 90 pages in the second volume. Period ink ownership inscription, dated 1700, to the title page in the fourth volume. Tiny embossed stamp to the front flyleaf in the fourth volume, with a small bookplate to the front pastedown in the first and fourth volumes. Old bookseller's ticket ("Fine tall copy of one of the scarcest Elzevirs") to the front pastedown in the first volumes. Some general dust staining to the top edges.
