The bracelet is 7/8" wide and 8" long from end to end. The bracelet weighs 46 grams and is composed of eight slightly curved linked together with thin metal rods. The clasp is an ingenious design where the last link has a curved carving for the metal rods on the other end of the bracelet to lock into. The clasp works like new and stays closed when the bracelet is being worn. A tiny carved dot has been carved into the last link and painted white, to allow the wearer to know where to disengage the clasp when it is being removed. This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The bracelet tested positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish.
