It states recommended needle size as 3-5, but I had to double it to to use on a size 3 to get a nice tight weave for the stranded hat. There are 328 yards per skein. This is a plied yarn that was a pleasure to work with. All 4 colors to be offered are deeply saturated and vibrant. This is a soft, warm yarn.
