Description: You are bidding on the lot of (4) Wedgewood ROMEO Pattern plates seen in the picture! Starting from the top right quadrant of the first picture: 8" inch Salad/Dessert plate with heavy crazing. Two rough edge spots on the scalloped border. One small darkened chip on the underside, see bottom right of pic 3. Some minor fading on the edges, gold highlights worn in many spots as well. This is the better of the two 8" plates. 8" inch Salad/Dessert plate, bottom right of pic 1. Minor crazing, but one craze line has become darkened on face of plate, see top right of pic 4. One small darkened chip, see pic 5 & 6, visible front and back. Blends well into the pattern for a chip though. Some factory pitting on the back. Gold highlights are faded/worn. 7.25" Scalloped edge 1.5 " deep Salad/Soup plate (I think thats what this is), bottom left of pic 1. No crazing, but small factory pitting have darkened front and back. Back has a deep set dark stain one edge, see pic 11. Some gold highlight loss. 7.25" Scalloped edge 1.5 inche deep salad/soup plate. Top left of pic 1. No crazing, but untensil marks can be seen in glare of light. A few darkened pit marks on front and back. Hairline crack seen in middle right of pic 12. Overall, these pieces have been used much and show many flaws, but still a rare lot of a very old pattern.
