Description: LOT of 3 Antique Wood Tennis Rackets KENT • WRIGHT & DITSON • LAKESIDEFrom top to bottom: group photos show both sides; please read descriptions as each racket has a “problem” beyond the usual wear and tear. 1910s Kent HARTFORD; original leather strip is intact; intact replaced strings; good thread banding; about ¾ inch warp as shown1910s Wright & Ditson CHAMPION; original leather strip is intact; intact original strings with doubled mains; good thread / celluloid banding; head is warped about ½ inch and twisted a bit1900s LAKESIDE (perhaps Spalding who made a LAKESIDE model for many years with this same arched font and logo); original strings as shown; solid mahogany wedge; appears to my eye to have been cut down a very long time ago to about 24.5 inches; shallow crack on one side just above the wedge; not warpedI have some 5-day racket auctions going right now @ heyoldtimer.
