Description: Lot of 18 S.F. DENTON antique Fish Chromo-litho prints! Look!. I’ve had these chromo litho fish prints packed away for 30+ years. They were obtained in an upstate NY sale from an old estate. They have been stored away in a dark filing cabinet and have not seen daylight since then. Colors are bright and vivid. Each plate measures 12” x 9 3/8”. They are from 1898-1902. Most are signed Denton with the occasional one not signed(but they also are easily recognized being by the same artist’s hand). The condition is very good but some have small edge chips or a small rip. Once matted these small imperfections will go away. These scarce chromo-litho prints are hard to find singularly but rare in a large lot. Fish species include: male brook trout, weak fish, synapse trout, rainbow trout, Tom Cod, sheepshead, hickory shad, smelt, scup porgy, white perch, sunfish, butter fish, steelhead/salmon trout, bluefish, branch herring, long eared sunfish, and 2 plate with four fish on them.Shipping in the lower 48 states is $14.95.
