Description: Hello and welcome to another of my listings. Today for your consideration is this very interesting lot of antique and American made wood working chisels with antique storage wood box. There are 15 chisels in total and 2 wood plane blades. As found condition and in need of some cleaning. Chisels are with different shapes and looks that were used by professional woodworker. My apology for limited description but I'm not expert in this field. Please use your own judgement before buying. There are 10 chisels with wood handles and includes:- L&J White, steel part is 9 5/8" long and 1/4" wide- J.H. Witherby, steel part is 6 1/8" long and 1/2" wide- W. Butcher cast steel, steel part is 7 1/2" long and 2" wide- no name found, steel part is 9 7/8" long and 7/16" wide- L. & I.J. White, steel part is 9 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide- Buck Brothers cast steel, steel part is 6 11/16" long and 1/2" wide- Buck Brothers cast steel, steel part is 8 1/2" long and 15/16" wide- Buck Brothers cast steel, steel part is 6 7/8" long and 13/16" wide- Buck Brothers cast steel, steel part is 7 3/8" long and 1/2" wide- Buck Brothers cast steel, steel part is 7 1/2" long and 5/16" wideThere are 5 chisels without handles and looks to me that they are custom made. No hallmarks found on steel. Size range between 9 3/4" to 17 1/4" long. Wood planers blades include: Stanley Ruler and Level Co. 2 5/16" wide and Westport Tool Co., 2 7/16" wide. There is no damage to blades cutting parts but there is some rust spots on steel parts and can be buffed out. Very well made tools and perfect for your shop or as a new addition to your tools collection. Will be sold as one lot and please do not send us offers for individual items. My apology but this lot is very heavy and we will need to charge for shipping, which is expensive now due to high inflation.
