Description: For sale is a lot of 9 Classical Dmitri Shostakovitch-themed Albums from the estate of a local collector who amassed 400+ vintage albums, many of which I will be listing. These are from various labels, and all feature Shostakovitch, described further below. Most look barely played, if at all. I have not made any attempt to clean the albums; which means that I don't clean the vinyl just before taking the picture in order to "improve" the appearance of gloss. I leave all cleaning to the preference of the buyer. I use the Goldmine visual grading checklist. This has not been tested on a player, so I am rating it on visual standards. That said, album grading is subjective, so I encourage additional questions. Below is my rating for the album and components:Vinyl Album: Most are NM (good shine, no visible defect)Album Cover: Most are NM (good shine, light edge wear, occasional light ring wear)Inner sleeve: NM (all have sleeves)You are getting the following Albums:Shostakovitch Plays Shostakovitch:Seven Preludes and Fugues for Piano, HOF517, small notation on back coverSongs of the Forests, CM 02699, Violin Concerto with David Oistrakh, Columbia ML 5077, small written notation on back cover, tape in one spotSonata No. 2 w Emil Gilels, RCA AGL1-1337, small written notations on coverSymphony No. 13, London Symphony Chorus and Orchestra, Angel SZ-37661Symphony No. 10, London Philharmonic, Seraphim S-60255Symphony No. 6 and No. 9 Leningrad Symphony Orchestra, RCA ASD 3706Symphony No. 9, London Symphony Orchestra, Everest SDBR 3054, small notation on back coverBallet Russe, Columbia Symphony Orchestra, Columbia ML 4671, ring wear on back cover Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on. Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option. However, if I made a mistake (I am human), or you have a concern about my grading of the album, please contact me, and I will do everything reasonably possible to make it right, and my feedback reflects that. I want both us to come out winners here. You can expect the items I sell to be smoke-free, unless I specifically state otherwise. At your request, I will be happy to create a combined shipping invoice on multiple purchases, subject to size/weight restrictions or any other eBay policy limitations. However, eBay's Global Shipping Program may limit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns. As of 2019, many U.S. states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires a sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment. I'm sorry about this added cost, but it is a requirement of your state and not a cent goes to me. Payment for purchases are expected within 3 days of auction end. Have fun.
