Description: Wonderful 1966 snapshot of a classic mid century middle class American Hawaiian vacation! Can you picture the Luau feast now!!! This lot has stubs and such from bus and rental car and airline tickets, to brochures and maps from Honolulu. There are two felt pennants, postcards, luggage tickets, a Pearl Harbor brochure, a photo or two and Polynesian center information. There is also a cool carved wood “hang loose” hand, a carved black stone figure, a stunning hula girl doll “Alex” and a strand of tiny beads and pearls that needs repair. All found in a shoebox marked “Hawaii 66-67” Everything shown and maybe some other items I find to go with before it’s sold. I can taste the pineapple already…… Some cool rare airline pieces and Hawaiian brochures.
