Description: c.1893 with no later dates or further printing information listed. This is a decorative hardback with BOTH v.1 and v.2 in single volume. Frank T. Merrill glossy plates are all present. This antique hardcover book is in good+ condition, with no text notes, margin writings or underlinings. Gift inscription with vintage calling card affixed inside front cover and dated [1908] owner's name/inscription inside front cover as well. It is NOT ex-library. Spine and binding are complete and all pages are secure; hinges are strong and straight. Pages are generally clean, with a few pages showing faint stain on lower edge not affecting text at all. No odor or mould or stuck pages. Gilt top edge of page block. Scuff to spine edge (someone had put a sticker there!); otherwise, some mild edge and corner wear to cover boards only. Book is very attractive and displays beautifully. Please view all photos and ask questions before bidding. Photos are a specific and important part of my description. I frequently accept reasonable Best Offers. I have dozens of vintage and antique books from closed estates that I am listing. Please take a look and watch for more listings soon.
