Very rare early NY printing done the same year as the First Edition in both the U.K. and America. Publisher's marbled paper covered boards, covered over long ago with plain paper which is still largely adhered to both covers. Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition. Binding well age worn, spine crudely restitched long ago by previous owner, retains one blank at front and two blanks at rear. Text block paper is heavily foxed and toned, still sound, text block still untrimmed as issued. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail showing how this antique book survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books.
