Bohemian Art Glass vase in bronze art nouveau mount (2 of 2)

Description: From our personal collection we are pleased to offer this stunning and extremely rare Bohemian art glass vase in bronze mount. The maker, though undoubtedly one of the Bohemian glass works is currently unknown. Our best bet, especially given the threading at top, is that is it by the Pallme König (Elisabeth Glasfabrik) glassworks though it also has some of the color characteristics of the Loetz Pensee Verlaufend ("spreading pansy") pieces . This glass was designed for the bronze mount, as you can see the purple threaded top works with the top of the mount. The top rim is pinched in three places. We have two of these vases but are selling individually as, being hand blown, there is some obvious variation in the coloring of the " spreading pansy " violet. We have owned these for over 25 years and this is first time up for sale (reluctantly) from our personal collection. The vase stand 14" tall in mount, 11"-12" outside mount, and are 6" wide across mount. We believe we have the pieces in our collection fairly priced for collectors given the rarity and condition of most of them We tend not to make offers to watchers but almost all of our pieces have a best offer option.
