An INTERESTING UNIT FROM 1948-49 This is the Lionel 675 steam engine from 1947-49. There are two main versions of this engine: the 2-6-2 made 1947-48 and the 2-6-4 made in 1952. There are other differences and variations as well within those. For the 2-6-2 version, this one is the 1948-49 unit with these variations: Painted Smokestack (versus unpainted aluminum in 1947) Pilot with the coupler in the casting "5690" Keystone on boiler front (versus 675 stamp, 675 decal) Baldwin Drivers FEATURES: Smoke Headlight Jewels for marker lights Three position reverse CONDITION: Very good. Someone put Monon decals on boiler front and under cab window. Locomotive only. Recently serviced and running, smoking, lights.
