Description: 11” diecast 6-8-6 PRR Turbine loco, made late 1940’s has a coil type smoke unit, headlight and 3-position reverse. Loco has Precision type motor, does not have Magne-Traction. Smoke requires SP type pellets, not included. Original finish has light wear, mainly edges and details. It has some small touch-ups, near 100% keystone decal, nice-bold silver rubber stamped cab numbers. It ran, reverse was a bit sticky, headlight and smoke worked when it warmed-up. Rear steps missing, otherwise looks original/complete. Includes a a 2466WX plastic shell tender with diecast whistle, silver heat-stamped lettering. 7.5” tender is not catalog-correct, but otherwise looks near-identical to a 671W tender. Whistle worked when bench tested, wires are detached from rollers, need to be re-attached. Wiring has good insulation. Coil type coupler is missing the sliding shoe on truck, coupler did open when tested with jumper wires. Tender has light dirt/wear, very nice-bold heat-stamped silver lettering, EX under light dirt.
