Description: This is a Lionel O gauge New York Central Commodore Vanderbilt 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive Lionel 6-18045 The box is still factory sealed - BUT as can be seen from the pics some moisture has gotten into the cardboard on two sides from tears in the plastic. UPDATE After MANY low ball offers (some less than $100 due to the mold in the plastic) I finally cut the plastic and opened the box. There is some slight mold on the inside of the main box, as well as slight mold on the outside of the tender box and even a few spots on the styrofoam interior box. HOWEVER - the engine and the tender are untouched and are factory new. I have added some additional pictures This is from an estate sale - The trains have been stored in a basement for 20+ years and as such may have some dust/dirt on/in the boxes. I am NOT a train retailer and as such will do no service/maintenance on the train being sold. Sold As IS.
