Description: Limoges pattern for King Louis XIV was made for my grandmother in France for a large party. It was handpainted for my family with his crest of feathers and family pattern. It is gold inlay on all the pieces with a crown on the dinner platter. It is a set of 12 soup bowls, plates, cups and cup saucers. Three serving platters and one round covered dish for vegetables or food to keep warm. An additional 10 plates are available separately if interested. Limoges is a city in southwest-central France. It’s known for its decorated porcelain, much of which is on display at the Musée National Adrien Dubouché. King Louis XIV Sun King, was known for monumental contributions to art and architecture. He build the famous Palace of Versailles.
