Description: NOS-NIB. These lil Phil dolls were made in the 1990s exclusively for Phillips Petroleum company in several collectors series by the Ames Doll company (no longer in business) These were reproductions of the original Buddy Lee dolls from the 1940s-50s. Each doll is numbered and this is #5138 in the fifth series of collector dolls. The number is printed on the front of the box and hand written below the neck on the upper shoulders. The box is also in very good condition which adds to the value of the doll overall. This doll comes in the winter denim uniform with the Orange and Black Logo patches reflecting Pilgas on the uniform jacket and matching hat. His uniform is clean as the day he was made.See photos for details on condition. This doll is highly collectable and has been in sealed storage for many years. It has not been exposed to dirt, smoke, or animals. Given the age of the doll, the elastic that runs inside between the two arms could give out at any moment. This is NOT a toy or intended to be played with.
