Description: RARE LENOX Vintage Porcelain Coffee / Tea Large 14 fl.oz. Footed Mug With Hunting & Fishing Scenes. Made in USA. This beautiful mug in cream color has a gold rim and a gold ring above the foot. A fine gold line is attached on the swirled handles top. Around the outside body of the mug you see mountain scene with a lake, a cabin trees, a deer, a canu on the lake and a man standing in the lake fishing. On the other side of the mug you see a man with a riffle huntingducks which are flying over the lake. He has a hunting dog on his side. Beautiful scenes in natural looking colors. The gold mark on the bottom was used by Lenox from 1953 - 1988. We did not find a similar Lenox item nor this pattern. The design speaks for a production in the 1970s but we can not say that for sure. The mug is in excellent used condition. There are no chips, no crazing nor other flaws visible.
