Description: OFFERING ORIGINAL ART NOUVEAU PRINTS & LITHOGRAPHS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION AT LESS THAN DEALER COST Les Affiches Etrangeres were mini-posters, usually of Maitres de L’Affiches, in a production of only 1050 copies geared to the general public who could neither afford nor have room to display the larger posters. Etrangeres means Foreign and this one is from Belgium (Belgique). This stone litho by G. Boudet is from the printing studio Chaix, owned by Jules Cheret. Subject: Two women leaving a literary discussion group (?) with shadows of Pierrot in the background. The image has the fine grain texture you would expect in a stone lithograph, but I can’t be certain it is. The artist is V. Mignot. Size: 8-58 x 12-1/4 inches Condition: Excellent, cream colored paper with little to no age toning. There is evidence on the back that there was once a tissue cover. Shipping will be Priority Mail at the one-pound rate for the U.S. Inquire about International rates before bidding. Payment may be any accepted Ebay method within 3 days please. You may combine my print auctions and save on shipping costs. Thanks for looking. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog
