With the grey clouds of an impending storm on top of them, a group of Fairey Swordfish biplanes take off from the HMS Ark Royal. It’s late in the afternoon in May 1941, but they still have a mission that they need to accomplish before night falls - taking down the battleship Bismarck. Avoiding the ship’s massive artillery, they were able to take it down with a torpedo and the rest of the British Fleet. About the Artist: The name Robert Taylor has been synonymous with aviation art over a quarter of a century.
