Description: A Large and beautifully carved Burka Clad Middle Eastern Statue. Originating from the Middle East and dating back to at least the mid 20th Century. Whoever carved this statue has a great eye and has captured in simple but fine detail the shape and movement of a Burka worn by a woman. She is carved from a heavy and dense unknown local wood which has its original finish and patina that has been lightly waxed to clean and protect. ** Large size = 51 Cm High x 19 Cm Wide x 10 Cm Deep ** No major Damage.A few signs of original carving and the odd small mark and dent from life.PLEASE SEE LAST FEW IMAGES FOR DETAILSThe statue stands well and slightly off true, not through damage rather because of the original saw cut flat base.
