Large Sterling Silver 12mm-13mm Diameter Genuine Freshwater Pearl Ring S925 Band

Description: When we mark this as "handmade," we do not mean that we created the pearl or the setting, we bought them separately and ASSEMBLED the ring ourselves. We did not buy it ready-to-wear. The hand model we use is close to the size of my own hand, and I have a normal-sized hand for someone my age. I wear a size 6.5 ring on my ring finger, and a 6.5" bracelet, so we do not use little plastic, child-sized hands to make our rings & bracelets look larger than they really are. This is a large genuine, cultured freshwater pearl adjustable size ring in real 925 sterling silver. The band has a cute filigree heart on each side of the pearl. The pearl is 12-13mm in diameter. It is a large pearl, and it would be for older teens & adults, not young teens or children. We also sell this ring with a larger 14mm and a 16mm pearl in sterling silver. We have several in stainless-steel adjustable settings as well, at a lower price. Buyer beware, because a lot of platforms these days have sellers who are selling very cheap what they call "925 sterling silver" rings, but when you check, you will find out that they are talking about silver-PLATED rings with a base metal of BRASS or copper, so IF you think you are getting genuine 925 sterling silver, they are scamming you! Just realize that sterling silver that is designated as 925 sterling means it is 92.5% PURE silver. The other 7.5% has a mixture of other metals to make it stronger because silver is soft and fragile! That is why we don't offer more jewelry in sterling silver, it is fragile & soft. That other 7.5% mixed with the silver can be copper, zinc, platinum, manganese, or germanium. Nickel was once used, but not so much anymore because many people are sensitive to nickel. In the USA, silver is considered 925 STERLING SILVER if it is 92.5% pure silver. Other countries may require sterling silver to be 95% pure or higher, while some countries consider a lower amount of pure silver to be "sterling," depending on where it is purchased. A good TEST is the magnet test. Silver-plated jewelry will stick right to a magnet like glue! (Real silver is NOT magnetic, not to the point that you should be able to lift if off your table with a magnet. You may purchase a pair of sterling silver earrings that have 925 sterling in the hooks, but with a jump ring in them that is made of brass or copper, so that jump ring will make them cling to a magnet, but if you buy a genuine 925 sterling silver chain or ring, for example (which are not lightweight like earrings are), it should NOT stick to a magnet! IF it does, and you can lift it off the table with a magnet, it most probably is not 92.5% sterling, but silver-plated brass, bronze or copper!) Message the seller and ASK THEM what the BASE metal of their jewelry piece is. This ring has a base metal of genuine 925 sterling silver. There is a S925 stamp inside the band. Try to find another genuine pearl ring in sterling silver with a 12mm to 13mm pearl this size at this price - GOOD LUCK! Many of the sellers who are selling sterling silver pearl rings on today's platforms don't even tell you what the DIAMETER SIZE OF THEIR PEARL is, so you don't know if you are getting an 8mm pearl, a 10mm pearl or a 12mm pearl! This pearl is approx 12mm to 13mm in size, so it is huge. It would be for an adult, not a child. This ring would be appropriate for just about any occasion, and you would not have to worry about it not fitting since it is adjustable. IF a pearl this size were totally perfect, totally round and totally smooth, you would be paying $2000.+ for ONE pearl, and those are available. I have seen large perfect silvery/gray pearls this size being auctioned off for $4,000 before (which is absurd, in my opinion), but to each his own! You will see a lot of SOUTH SEA SHELL PEARLS on the market that are being sold as though they are REAL cultured pearls. They are NOT! Shell pearls are man-made, man-created pearls.
