Description: Stainless Steel Rack12-1/2X12-1/2X3-3/4 inch I obtained this about 20 years ago from University Surplus. It is made of non-magnetic stainless steel so it will not rust and it is autoclavable. It is not a traditional test tube rack although it can probably used to hold test tubes about 25 mm in diameter (about 100 will fit). It may be a specialty rack to hold glass vials. I had a few vials about 20 mm in diameter and that worked fine. The rack consists of 3 wire grids. The top grid has 21 grids in total (all 4 inches long). The width varies with six being 1-1/4, nine 1-5/8 and six 2 inches wide. The middle and bottom grids are the same with 1 inch wide and 4 inch long openings. The rack weighs 2 lbs 3 ounces.
