Purpurea Veinless, location data: Fort Nelson, British Columbia. This is the real deal clone. I obtained my parent plant originally from Willow Creek Nursery (Karen Oudean) before it retired.MUST-HAVE for the Sarracenia collector! This purpurea clone is a sought after location data clone from the westernmost range of Sarracenia purpurea. The plant is a lovely solid green in the spring/summer, with the lid and ala of the pitcher tipped with pink/red blush. During the fall and winter, the plant is semi-evergreen and retains most of its pitchers, and can fully infuse dark purple/red in high light situations. Breeders love this plant because of its veinless qualities in breeding programs, which allows color to be transposed on it from whatever plant it is crossed with. You will receive the division as shown in the last 3 photos, shipped potted in a round 4" pot to reduce stress on the division.Rarely offered, I've not seen any on Ebay for years.
