The jaws are 14" long and have an 8" capacity between jaws. There is some wear, but it works perfectly. The screws do come all the way out, unlike modern versions, and it will be disassembled for shipping. The threads are very nice - only a couple of threads on each screw has some minor damage and this does not affect use.For specifications, see the "About This Item > Item Specifics" section of this listing. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws.
