Description: This is a large 1950s style Rocket ship sculpture. It was created from mid century steel construction girders from around the 1940s and some brass parts. Girders show age some light dings, warps and oxidation. This piece is very visually engaging. Designed to display free standing but could also be hung from ceiling. The rocket body measures 37" tall or 41" including the aero spike at the top. Body dia. is 10" at widest point and fin span is 14.5". Though the Rocket is steel construction and very large in volumetric terms, it only weighs 2 pounds, due to it's lattice structure. Would prefer to ship this item with fins temporally unbolted from the body and nose spike retracted for safe arrival.
