Microparticles clump together to make it easier for mechanical filters to catch. Turn aquarium lights off when treating with KloudAway. Use 1 capful (5ml) of KloudAway solution per 10 gallons of aquarium water. Leave filter and aeration systems ON. Allow at least 12 hours for the flocculation process to complete. If necessary, aquarium may be re-treated after 24 hours. How do I know what's causing my freshwater aquarium to be cloudy? Take a clear glass, scoop up some aquarium water and hold the glass against a white sheet of paper to determine what color the water is. See chart above to compare results.
