Description: I bought this trombone new, and used it for many years playing gigs in Las Vegas. Excellent jazz and lead horn! Serial number is 132804, indicating mid-to-late 1980s manufacture date. Lots of minor dents in the bell from fast mute changes - hurts the cosmetics but not the sound. Some wear on the lacquer where my hands and neck were. Slide very good - not perfect but very good. no major dents in crook or tuning slide. Inner slide fine. A bit of corrosion on the inside of the lead pipe, but that happens to all but the most pampered horns. This horn was not pampered, but served me VERY well. Throughout the 1990s, I used it on stage with Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Burt Bacharach, Johnny Mathis, the Temptations, and many more stars. I took off the counterweight for a few years, which is why the King logo is not on it now. I have the logo discs and will include them, but they are pretty scratched up. It does not have the original case, but it will be sold with a Yamaha gig bag in pretty good condition. It also comes with a King 7C mouthpiece that has never been used.
